HitMaker Music School Is Now Leander Music School

Hello, Leander music lovers. We have an important update to share.

As of today, HitMaker Music School is officially Leander Music School.

While the name has changed, everything that truly matters has stayed the same. We are still the same dedicated team of instructors and staff, teaching with the same heart, values, and commitment to helping students grow through music. Our goal remains simple: to help people of all ages build confidence, creativity, and joy through music lessons.

Rooted in Leander, Built for Community

This name change comes at the perfect moment. After navigating the challenges of the pandemic and adapting in ways we never expected, we are proud to be fully settled into our new home here in Leander, Texas. As in-person lessons return to the center of what we do, it felt right to adopt a name that reflects where we are and who we serve.

Leander Music School represents our home base and the community we are most closely connected to. While we continue to welcome students from Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and Austin, Leander has become the heart of our daily work. This new name honors that connection.

Why the Change?

When we opened our doors in 2013, the name HitMaker Music School captured an exciting idea: helping students discover their voice and create something meaningful through music. Over the years, our school grew, evolved, and adapted, especially during 2020 and 2021, when online lessons, virtual recitals, and flexibility became essential.

Now, as we return to full in-person instruction in a purpose-built facility, we wanted a name that reflects stability, location, and long-term presence. Leander Music School does exactly that. It clearly tells families where we are and who we serve.

It also reflects our focus on relationships, consistency, and community-based music education.

Same Team, Same Values, Same Approach

Although the name is new, our foundation remains unchanged.

  • The same instructors you know and trust

  • The same thoughtful curriculum

  • The same flexible lesson options

  • Month-to-month enrollment with no long-term contracts

  • In-person and online lesson availability

Our mission continues to be centered on meeting students where they are and helping them progress at their own pace, whether they are beginners or returning musicians.

A New Space Designed for Music Education

Our current location at 1640 Highland Falls Dr, Suite 201, in Leander was designed specifically for music learning. The space includes comfortable waiting areas, observation windows in every teaching room, and a layout that helps students feel relaxed and focused.

After the disruption of the pandemic, we know how important stability and consistency are for families. We’ve taken steps to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, while also keeping the ability to adapt if online lessons are ever needed again.

That said, being back in the building—hearing instruments, lessons, and conversations happening in real time—has been incredibly energizing. Music feels alive here again.

Welcoming New and Returning Students

We are excited to welcome both familiar faces and new students into Leander Music School. Whether you paused lessons over the past few years or have always wanted to try an instrument, this is a great time to get started.

Music lessons can become a meaningful part of life at any age, and we are ready to help students take that first step or continue their journey.

Staying Connected During the Transition

Over the coming months, you’ll see our updated name reflected across all platforms, including:

You may still see the name HitMaker Music School in some places during the transition. That name represents an important chapter in our history, and we’re grateful for everything it stands for as we move forward under our Leander identity.

Thank You Leander!

To our longtime students and families, thank you for your trust, patience, and continued support. You helped carry this school through uncertain times, and this new chapter is built on that shared commitment.
